Testimonial by wedding clients:
Background
We had such a fantastic wedding that we feel we have to sing the praises of the people who made the day run so swimmingly. If you’re thinking of using RED to help organise your wedding, read our testimonial:
We both grew up in Cumbria, but live and work in London, so had an idea of venues and some suppliers but had not considered using a person or company to help to plan the day.
We decided to use RED primarily for the great supplier prices we could get through them but there are some other factors which we came to realise we should have also considered and which made us very glad we met Annemarie.
The day
From our experience, there are three factors to consider when thinking of planning your wedding. Everything you consider can be broadly grouped into these three areas – here is how RED helped us out with each one.
1 Cost
-
Supplier relations meant we could get facilities such as caterers, portable toilets, linen cheaper through RED than we had seen elsewhere, even with the commission included
-
They also have some great ideas for other cost saving ploys… such as cheap decorations and candles for outside the marquee… little but hugely helpful things
2 Enjoyment of the organising
Organising a wedding takes ages!
-
RED took a huge burden off us by dealing with the suppliers and organising payments etc. on our behalf
-
We were involved enough to get the enjoyment out of planning the wedding and having total control over what happened on the day
-
All in all it was the right balance of enjoying the preparation without the worry – there was a huge fire next to the marquee the day before the wedding which required a huge cleaning exercise and involved a power cut… a huge nightmare but one we were completely shielded from thanks to RED – if they were not involved it would have been a last minute panic!
3 Enjoyment of the day itself
The wedding day went so well we were expecting a disastrous honeymoon!
-
The suppliers were all excellent
-
Our demands were met down to the letter
-
We did not have to worry about anything on the day and could sit back and rely on RED to be competent and sort everything out.
The conclusion
We’d thoroughly recommend RED to anyone. Factors 2 and 3 above are really good enough reasons but the fact that there is no real cost means you’d be insane not to enlist their help!
Having read this through, the review sounds too glowing but they really are superb. I started from a cynical position of not wanting to spend money on a wedding coordinator… realised this was not the case when we looked at the figures and was entirely won over by their professionalism and competence. Good luck with your wedding plans.
