Whilst weddings continue 'come rain or shine' economically, corporate events have taken a bit of a bashing this past year, with many events scaled down or even cancelled.
Change must happen
Thankfully, investment into marketing and event management is now seeing a slow revival. Many businesses decided that they couldn't justify corporate entertainment during the credit crunch - or more importantly if they had the funds, didn't want to be seen spending money whilst local businesses suffered. As a marketeer, I've never been convinced by this excuse.
Now is the right time to make sure you have a support team in place to plan for the future and its challenges.
Look to the future
The supertanker of the European economy seems to be getting back on track and, for those with a long term view, now is the perfect time to strengthen and consolidate your position in your market. Communicate with current and potential customers that you are the business that has survived the hard times and is ready for future challenges.
